VerifAId · Straightforward Claims
Privacy Policy
Effective August 29, 2026
Straightforward Claims (“we,” “us”) operates the VerifAId sales desk (the “Desk”). This policy explains what we collect, how we use it — including Google user data when you connect Calendar — and the choices you have. It is written for Google’s OAuth verification as well as for the people on this desk.
Who this is for
VerifAId is an internal sales workspace for invited teammates of Straightforward Claims and VerifAId. It is not a consumer social product. Access is by work email on the roster, plus a password you set from an invite.
Information we collect
- Account. Name, work email, password (stored hashed), role (admin or sales rep), and sign-in session.
- Desk records. Companies, contacts, pipeline, closed sales, 10% commissions, notes, tasks, and schedule items you or a teammate enter.
- Google, if you connect it. Your Google account email, OAuth tokens, and calendar event data needed to create, update, and remove meetings you book from the Desk (including Google Meet links when Google provides them).
- Technical. Standard request logs (time, path, error) used to keep the Desk running.
Google user data — what we access and why
Connecting Google is optional. If you tap Connect Google, we request only these scopes:
- userinfo.email — so we can show which Gmail is connected and let you pick the right calendar.
- calendar and calendar.events — so the Desk can create, update, and delete events on the calendars you choose when you schedule from VerifAId, and so those bookings can include Meet when you ask for it.
We do not read your full mailbox. We do not use Google data to serve ads. We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as needed to operate the Desk (our hosting and database providers acting on our instructions) or if required by law.
VerifAId's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How we use information
- Sign you in and keep you on the correct sales book.
- Run the desk: accounts, people, opportunities, sales, and commissions.
- Push and update calendar events you create on Schedule, using the Google account you selected.
- Fix outages and abuse, and comply with law.
Sharing
Teammates see desk records according to role: admins see every book; reps see their own. We do not sell personal information. Service providers who host the app and database may process data solely to provide that infrastructure.
Storage, security, and retention
Data lives in the Desk’s database. Google refresh tokens are stored so Calendar stays connected until you disconnect. We keep desk records for as long as the workspace is active, then delete or de-identify them when the workspace is retired or you ask us to remove a person (closed sales and commissions may remain in the book as business records).
Your choices
- Disconnect Google at any time in Settings. You can also revoke access in your Google Account permissions.
- Ask an admin to send a password reset from Team.
- Ask an admin to remove you from the roster, or email [email protected] to request access or deletion.
Children
The Desk is for working adults on a company roster. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy in a material way, we will update this page and the effective date. Continued use of the Desk after that date is acceptance of the update.
